Plus tôt cette année, une opportunité très spéciale s’est présentée pour Sports Excellence. On nous a demandé de développer un bâton de hockey commémoratif pour honorer les survivants des pensionnats canadiens. Ce bâton de hockey ECM (Every Child Matters) est conçu avec des symboles vraiment significatifs qui représentent les luttes, la douleur et l'espoir de ces survivants. Sports Excellence est ravi de les soutenir dans cette campagne de sensibilisation et, ce faisant, fera don des bénéfices de chaque bâton de hockey vendu à des organismes de bienfaisance sélectionnés pour ce lancement inaugural. Les niveaux Senior et Intermédiaire recevront 20 $ par bâton, ainsi que 15 $ pour les bâtons Junior. Ces dons seront répartis entre l'Orange Shirt Society (une organisation à but non lucratif), le Centre national pour la vérité et la réconciliation (association caritative n° 11926-0669-RR0001) et Centraide (association caritative n° 11927 6509 RR0001).

Nous attendons avec impatience une excellente saison de hockey et une excellente campagne.

The hockey stick is amazing for the message it sends. On a practical hockey note the hockey stick feels good in my hands it is well balanced and I like the flex. This stick will not be used it will be displayed in my home as a reminder of the important message it delivers, the importance of continuing with reconciliation and a reminder how hockey can bring us all together. Hats off to Sports Excellence for their participation in promoting and selling this great stick with an important message it sends.
