That was certainly the case for the Mayhew family. We’re proud to have Jeff Mayhew, co-owner and operator of Sportwheels Sports Excellence in Sackville, NS as a member of our 200 Strong team. Since opening in 1947, the family has supported each other in their endeavours to promote active lifestyles in their community. This passion has remained strong throughout four generations of Mayhews. After working for and learning from his dad, Jeff purchased the family business in 2014.

Since then, Jeff has carried on the Sportwheels legacy. Under Jeff’s leadership, Sportwheels has developed new ways of sustainable giving dedicated to helping families with children interested in sports. Every purchase made at Sportwheels Sports Excellence helps provide equipment and registration for children in need. Through this initiative, Sportwheels has helped over 1000 kids enroll in organized sports! Whether it is providing children with equipment or helping them develop their passion for staying active, Sportwheels wants to help the next generation.

Sportwheels Sports Excellence isn’t just a place to find equipment; it’s a group of likeminded, enthusiastic individuals. Every staff member in the store is either personally involved in sports or has a child in sports. They're more than staff; they’re friends helping families stay active.
