Canada Post Strike FAQs
Will my order be impacted by the Canada Post strike?
With a possible Canada Post strike expected to begin on May 22, we’re proactively rerouting all shipments through Purolator, UPS, and other alternative carriers. As a result, any service interruptions should be minimal. However, shipping fees to certain rural areas typically served by Canada Post may be temporarily higher.
How will I know which courier is delivering my order?
Currently, all orders are being fulfilled via Purolator, UPS, and other available couriers, as Canada Post has been removed as a shipping option. Once your package has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email that includes tracking information to monitor your delivery.
Will there be changes to shipping costs?
Yes, shipping charges for rural postal codes may be significantly higher during this period.
What if I use a PO Box for my address?
Since only Canada Post delivers to PO Boxes, orders cannot be shipped to those addresses for now. Checkout using a PO Box will be disabled until further notice. You can still order online and choose in-store pickup at your nearest location.
What should I do if my delivery is delayed?
If you encounter any delays, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our support team at service@sec.ca or call us at 1-888-274-7910. We recognize how crucial it is to receive your orders promptly and are here to help.
